The Power of Influencers

Initial Design

Over the past two years, small businesses across the nation have been negatively affected by the pandemic. Small businesses are well known for being the backbone of our country and a large representation of what living out the American dream looks like. One company looked at this as an opportunity to give back to the individuals in the community and help bring their businesses back to life.

The sōsh team worked to research, vet, and contract five unique influencers that would generate 7 million impressions.

Setting up the Print Queue

AlphaGraphics, a national signage company, sought out the help of two marketing agencies to help them accomplish their goal of giving away three $25,000 business makeovers. AOR and sōsh partnered together to help create a campaign that leveraged the world of influencer marketing to help spread the word about this amazing contest.

Large-format Strategy

The sōsh team worked to research, vet, and contract five unique influencers that would generate 7 million impressions. By using software, deep diving personal platforms, and extensive research our team was able to find the right individuals who covered a broad spectrum of audiences that would reach a high volume of small businesses and drive contest engagement.

Eye-catching Results

The contest received over 400 submissions (both self-nominations and nominations from others) with over 160 unique businesses entering the contest. These businesses included restaurants, mom-and-pop shops, and K9 training facilities — covering the whole gambit. Our influencers generated 51 million impressions over the span of 4 weeks through organic and promoted content. We received 74,642 clicks and about 83,000 website sessions through our paid content.

  • A total of five influencers participated in the contest with backgrounds in business, medicine, finance, self-help, and entrepreneurship
  • A total of over 7 million impressions were generated from the influencers alone over the course of five weeks of content creation
  • There were a total of 413 submissions to the contest including businesses from all sectors and parts of the country
